This is excellent shampoo and conditioner. It’s sulfate-free, which means it doesn’t have the harsh, surfactant soaps that strip off the natural oils. It’s also very light; both shampoo and conditioner wash out readily and completely and don’t coat your hair. It has a scent, but that’s also very light and dissipates quickly–you’re not getting belted in the nose with it for hours or any time your hair gets damp again.
