I do not think I have eczema, but I have been fighting dry itchy skin for the last two winters. I get itchy on my shins, elbows, and ears. ONE time putting on this balm and the itching stops! Like many with eczema I have tried dozens of creams. I have had it with creams and balms that have chemicals. The ones with chemicals (which is almost all of them) STING. This is my 3rd baby with severe eczema. this stuff keeps it at bay. It hasn’t completely cleared up but it’s not as angry and dry looking. I tried some of the other recommended products and they didn’t work, I’m trying to avoid prescription cream. My only complaint is size… I need a much larger container

After my second vaccine, I developed psoriasis – a condition I never had before, and it was horrible. My entire chest and upper abdomen were a scaly, itchy, burning mess. I tried 2 rounds of steroids and was embarking on a third, My face would burn, my entire body would itch from the knees on up. I was miserable. Initially got this as something to help calm my shingles rash(es). There werenāt any other reviews for this so I took the gamble on this pricey stuff and now after having it for a month I can honestly say Iām glad I got it. Worked great for the shingles rash and now I use it to calm and soothe my ridiculously sensitive/reactive face. I can get sun and wind burn just running out to my mail box -_-
It can still feel kinda dry so Iām experimenting with layering moisturizers but itās still something I want to continue putting on my face just for the heat/redness relief

This natural eczema cream works very well, and truly has great ingredients. My son and I suffer from occasional eczema, and this clears up the itch and flaky skin in a short amount of time. Here’s where it gets interesting–I have a VERY severe petroleum allergy, and cannot have any exposure to petroleum/petrochemicals. If you are at all familiar with petroleum, there are many, many ingredients beyond the commonly known ones that contain petroleum or are synthesized with petrochemicals. Most people are surprised by how many “natural” and “organic” product actually contain petroleum products. This makes even compounding prescription creams very difficult and expensive; I prefer not to use those at all. Because any exposure will send me straight to the hospital, I am extremely careful reading labels and ingredients. I patch test any new items in my house that will touch my skin, and this passed with flying colors. If you feel it’s a little expensive, that’s because this company is using the real stuff, not cheap substitutes. I only wish I’d taken pictures of our eczema before and after! I will definitely always keep a spare bottle of this around.

Love this for my Psoriasis! I have a whole shelf of other lotions that have been less than ideal, including Psoriasis specific salicylic acid treatments. I think what really sets it apart is how deep it moisturizes, most likely due to the fact that the first ingredient is Aloe Vera, rather than water. EVERY other lotion has water as the first ingredient, and nothing has helped the itch for me quite like this. You know – that awful itch that just BEGS you to scratch? This is the first product that actually soothes the itch more than just moisturizing the skin. And the vast majority of ingredients are Organic, which is a definite plus.

I first met Sudhir Shah at a Green Festival in SF where he was hawking his wares. I bought a face wash from him then. I have psoriasis and this product works wonders. It’s not a cure all, but it works better than any other psoriasis product I’ve used, even the chemical products made specifically for psoriasis. It’s a thick paste, but it helps lock in the moisture when the skin gets flakey. I was in really bad pain with all of the cracking and bleeding caused by scratching, and this helps ease the itching more than anything else.

I unfortunately have to give this product only a 1 star. I developed a thick patch of dry red, itchy skin on both sides of my neck. I did some research and asked a few people who had eczema and that was the conclusion we came to. I applied this cream and it immediately made that area inflamed, red, and burn. I waited about 15 minutes for it to subside, but ended up having to take it off with a cold washcloth. I use other Om products with no reaction so I am not sure what it is with this cream. Maybe I am allergic to a specific ingredient? I am not sure as I have never been allergic to anything before.

This cream is AMAZING. I tried a sample about a month ago at a health expo, and I waited 24 hours to see how my skin would react before purchasing it. My eczema is on my hands and sometimes even natural treatments irritate it, especially since I’m allergic to so many natural and non-natural ingredients (allergic to aloe, almond, etc). I noticed right away after applying the sample that it had a soothing effect, absorbed quickly with no greasiness, and calmed the constant itching feeling. That evening, I noticed a reduction in redness and the eczema patch even seemed smoother and more like my regular skin. So I went back to the expo the next day and purchased a full bottle. I have been using it twice a day for about a month and I notice a dramatic difference. My eczema has not disappeared completely, but it’s so much more manageable now. Another thing I love is that the smell is pleasant and blends well with the smell of coconut oil. I don’t have to worry about the cream getting in my mouth since it’s non-toxic- the opposite of cortizone! This cream works 100% better than even prescription-strength cortizone, and better than any other natural ointment I’ve ever tried. It also works exceptionally well to calm an allergic skin reaction- for example, last night I started to get small hives on my hands from handling raw limes, and I immediately washed my hands and applied this cream, within an hour the hives were gone. This is a MIRACLE product and I don’t know how I ever lived without it.
