Dispense into palm and rub hands together. Apply shampoo to wet hair, massaging scalp with fingertips in a rotating motion. Work lather though too ends. Wait two minutes and rinse thoroughly. Repeat if desired.

I really really REALLY wanted to like this product as I’ve enjoyed many other products from OM Botanical, but I just couldn’t. This shampoo is NOT made for OILY hair/scalp. I have thick hair, and my skin also likes to produce a lot of oil, so naturally, my hair becomes oily pretty quickly. However, because of the oil that would naturally build on top of my head, it created a barrier for the shampoo to penetrate. Even after I would try and scrub and rub it in, the shampoo would just sit on the top of my hair. I would have to put an excessive amount of shampoo just to feel it on my scalp, not to mention that I would directly have to squeeze the shampoo directly around my head (I was doing zigzags up and down from the top of my head to the base) because otherwise, the shampoo would get stuck in one area if I applied it with my hands.
The conditioner I liked better. I loved how soft it made my hair feel in the shower, however again, I don’t think it was made for people who produce high amounts of sebum as it was too heavy for my hair making it look flat in a couple of hours. And that’s only when I applied it to the ends of my hair.
The smell in great, I loved that minty freshness I felt once it finally did reach my scalp, but it’s not for me. If don’t have thick hair and an oily scalp, I would say go ahead with this shampoo. But if you are like me, then don’t bother until OM Botanical comes out with a shampoo/conditioner for oily hair or a deep cleanser, hopefully, one day.

I also have problems with that peppermint oil burning my eyes really badly no matter how tightly I keep them closed. I’m almost surprised I’m seeing it in shampoo. The smell is lovely though.

Most people don’t know that shampoos that grow your hair fast (obviously with no sulfates, no parabens or DEA) exist. Individuals now may have longer hair and achieve more alternatives. Definitely worth exploring.
If you’re thinking about alopecia, damaged hair, preventing skin disorders, hair growth, hair health in general, almost the same thoughts apply.
As a general rule, you have to stay away from hair treatments and products that include chemicals such as parabens, DEA or sulfates.
What’s good for your hair is healthy for your skin all the same.

I really like the shampoo. Yes it doesn’t make many suds, but then if you read the summary it is not supposed to. My hair and head feel clean after each use. I do think my hair looks healthy and full. Though, hair loss, etc. was not a problem for me. I just wanted a healthy product to put on my head. I will continue buying the shampoo.

Amazing product. Love the scent and multiple ingredients. I can tell that this is a very healthy pure product. It’s hard to lather it in the hair because it’s more of a lotion consistency so I have to use a second shampoo to make sure that grease is removed from my hair. If it was more soapy I wouldn’t use anything else. Hopefully you can reply my comment.. and let me know if I’m doing anything wrong..?

Have noticed a difference in hair growth! Great product, love the ingredients! Bottle last a while, I am on my second one now and I am so happy with the results. I have a super itchy dry scalp and that product is the only thing that has worked for me. I also just received the conditioner and it is also wonderful.

This is the first time that I am using this shampoo. I already see a big difference in my hair, Definitely stronger and shinier just more vibrant. I did have to get used to not having lots of sudsy soap, as this shampoo does not lather up as much as others but I think this is a good thing as it is not stripping the hair and nourishing the hair follicles. I highly recommend it for healthy stronger hair minus the bubbles.

I’ve tried other natural shampoos (Wen and Morrocco Method), and this one definitely is my favorite. I love that all the ingredients are natural – no chemicals. My hair feels very clean after using this shampoo. I use the OM Botanical conditioning and scalp nourishment after shampooing. The combination makes my long hair shiny with a silky feel. My husband also loves the shampoo.
